With a new and incredibly strong Line up they`re going to record the new studio album

„BEYOND“

at the „Separate Sound Studios“ in Nürnberg / Germany

Hell Yeah, ILKER ERSIN is back!! On the bass guitar, their co-former member ILKER returns to FREEDOM CALL.
After a break of several years, from now on he's a fix member of the band again.
ILKER will emphasize and continue the traditional roots of Freedom Calls music.

On the drums the band deeply welcomes RAMY ALI, “The Wizard on Drums”
He had already played for many well known international artists & bands. From now on he's a fix member of FREEDOM CALL.
He will top the, possibly even, strongest Line up in their band's history

On the one side, the new studio album „BEYOND“ returns to the band's traditional roots of Melodic Metal, at the same time it underlines the development of the band during the recent years...AND it takes a big step forward, so Freedom Call walks new paths of creativity, which makes the „Trademark - Freedom Call“ as outstanding as to say that FREEDOM CALL is the „Happiest Metal band of the world“

Je l'aimais bien moi l'autre bassiste mais bon, trop bien pour le nouvel album!

Au Z7 le 1er mars, c'est un samedi, il y a donc de grandes chances que j'y aille.

Ils passent aussi au Grillen à Colmar au cas où.

De nouveau à Colmar ? Ils sont déjà passés l'an dernier !

Ils passent aussi à Toul la veille ou le lendemain de la date de Colmar.
Tout ça est à trop d'heures de route de chez moins, donc à moins qu'ils annoncent bientôt une date en Rhône-Alpes, je ne pourrais pas les revoir tout de suite.

Freedom Call sortira son nouvel album le 21 février 2014!! Oh yeah!

Ils ont décalé au 24 apparemment, m'enfin ça change pas grand chose...

Beyond was recorded by the current line-up featuring Chris Bay, Lars Rettkowitz (guitar), Ilker Ersin (bass) and Ramy Ali (drums) at the Separate Sound Studio in Nuremberg and Freedom Call’s own studio. The album was produced by Chris Bay and Stephan Ernst.

Pas mal la pochette, en tout cas j'aime mieux que celle de Land of the Crimson Dawn, même si je préfère celles des 3 premiers albums ou celle de Legend of the Shadowking.

Raaa je suis tout excité et impatient d'écouter ça!^^

Vendredi, sortie du clip Union of the Strong !

Sinon je pense pas aller les voir en concert finalement. Je les ai déjà vu 3 fois, les concerts de metal me disent clairement moins et je préfère garder mon fric pour aller voir d'autres groupes.

Ouais, je trouve sympa mais pas wahoo non plus. C'est du Freedom Call "basique" pour moi. Mais ça me va hein

Idem! Y a pas la beauté qui me scotche le cul par terre comme FC a su le faire par le passé, avec des morceaux comme "Ocean", "Kings & Queens", "Carry On", "Island of Dreams", "Tears of Babylon" etc 'fin tous mes morceaux préférés quoi!

Mais en tout cas ce "Union of the Strong" passe bien et je préfère ça à "Rockin' Radio" dont je n'arrive plus à accrocher...

Ah moi je préfère quand même Rockin Radio tout l'album précédent m'avait beaucoup plu aussi! On verra bien ce que ça va donner...

Alors j'ai trouvé cet album très bien, en particulier les morceaux bien happy aux touches folk tels que "Come On Home" et "Journey to Wonderland".
Les morceaux speed très beaux, il y en a avec "Knights of Taragon", "follow your heart" ou "Paladin".

Les morceaux que j'ai le moins aimé sont au final "Union of the Strong", puis l'anecdotique "Beyond" (qui se veut une pièce épique mais qui tombe à l'eau à mon avis à cause du refrain baclé) et l'anecdotique "Dance off the Devil".

Et l'album finit en grande beauté avec les très sympathiques "Colours of Freedom" et "Beyond Eternity".
